Newground came to us to help create 
a flagship e-commerce platform with the goal of improving conversion rate and customer lifetime value. We worked with their engineering in-house team to replatform from Magento to 
a Headless Commerce Layer-powered experience with complex prescription flows and product customisation capabilities. Replatforming from Magento to a headless  Commerce Layer solution enabled 
a mouthwatering blend of commerce 
and coffee.

Subscription-first coffee

A subscription-first coffee brand that wants to change the world, one coffee at a time. Shopify Plus and Recharge were the backbone of this upgrade from an antiquated monolithic stack to headless powerhouse, to support this young but high growth brand. Recharge powered product builder was the logical approach to guide the user. Breaking down the purchase flow into smaller more-manageable chunks, with useful information along the way.

Effortless checkout

A best-in-class product demanded a best-in-class buying experience. And with a myriad of options available to ‘create your own’, a typical PDP buying panel just wouldn’t suffice. An interactive and immersive — whilst being as frictionless as possible — customise flow made the buying process a joy to explore.

We used Recharge to power subscriptions. As market leader for Shopify subscriptions it was a no-brainer in delivering a simple yet effective Subscription offering. Boosting sales by 64%.

Account description and what we did. We used  Recharge to power subscriptions. As market leader for Shopify subscriptions it was a no-brainer in delivering a simple yet effective Subscription offering. Furthermore, to remove any potential buying friction, an Amazon Buy button was implemented. The Amazon ecosystem can obviously be a powerful tool, and one that was part of the sales strategy.

Robust design system

When Wild came to us, a lot of the ingredients were there already from a Brand point-of-view, we just had to show them how to use them. This is where our extensive Design system comes in. We revived some retro-inspired (but modern) typography, created a AA compliant colour system and of course harnessed the power of emoji’s! The resulting vibrant and playful Design & UX   were particularly important to resonate with their Gen-Z and millennial audiences.
